Explore the traditional and contemporary influences of China at A Glimpse of China – Seattle Chinese Culture & Arts Festival on May 17 at the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall. This free one-day event will allow attendees to participate in cultural traditions covering 5,000 years of Chinese history.

There will be painting and calligraphy activities to engage in, visually stimulating artwork and traditional outfits on display to appreciate, fun Chinese games to play, and live folk-dance performances to watch on the Armory stage. Take pleasure in browsing through the lively marketplace with delicious Chinese food waiting to be served!

This festival is in partnership with Washington Chinese Arts & Culture Committee (WCACC), a non-profit organization that strives to foster understanding, friendship, and opportunities between local Chinese and American communities and between China and America through art and cultural events, as well as other exchange activities. The volunteer-run organization is operated by professionals from different fields who share the same vision and passion for China/US cultural exchange.
