SavorFest PNW 2025

Celebrating the Pacific Northwest’s Diverse Culinary Traditions with Food, Music, Culture, and Community

Mark your calendars for SavorFest Pacific Northwest 2025, an annual celebration of the region’s vibrant ethnic and culinary traditions, happening Sunday, July 20 from 12 PM – 5 PM at Mi Centro in Tacoma’s Historic Hilltop Neighborhood. The free, family-friendly outdoor festival is co-presented by Caribbean Queens of WA and Mi Centro WA, and promises an unforgettable afternoon of culture, cuisine, music, and community spirit.

Now in its fifth year, SavorFest PNW brings together a rich tapestry of communities to showcase the artistry, food, and music that make the Pacific Northwest a uniquely flavorful place to live and gather. This year’s festival is expanding its reach thanks to a dynamic collaboration with the Caribbean Queens of WA, amplifying visibility for Caribbean performing ensembles and cultural vendors.

The event will spotlight local BIPOC chefs, food vendors, artists, and performers, including DJ Tremenda Diosa, Brazilian martial artists from WA Capoeira Center, Puerto Rican bomba ensemble Hijos de Agüeybaná and fan favorites the PLU Alumni Steel Band. SavorFest PNW will also offer family-friendly features including appearances from popular animated movie characters and cooking demos from Chef Mary Cortez and Chef Susan Burbano for aspiring home chefs and culinary enthusiasts.

SavorFest PNW 2025 is free and open to the public. For those looking to get involved, volunteers, donations and sponsorships are still being accepted to support vendor subsidies, youth programming, and cultural demonstrations.
