As an official partner and sponsor of Tacoma Pride, Oasis invites guests near and far to join us for our annual whimsical brunch theme to rally for youth in this inspiring and awareness-raising event. This event includes a VIP pre-reception, guest registration, raffle opportunities, silent auction, brunch, and a raise the paddle.

This year’s theme, Ocean Fantasy, beckons guests to dive into a world of enchantment, mystery, and intrigue, where the ocean’s depths hold secrets as vast and varied as the stars above. The ocean, with its shimmering waves, vibrant coral reefs, and endless horizons, symbolizes the beauty of diversity, the power of resilience, and the magic of discovery.

Beyond the whimsy, Big Hat Brunch serves as a crucial fundraising effort to support Oasis's initiatives, bridging any gaps left by other funding sources, such as grants, to uplift and empower queer youth to thrive. Oasis provides a safe drop-in center, peer support groups, educational and recreational programs, counseling, and social activities that create an affirming and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ youth to find support, resources, and a sense of community. By effectively leveraging resources, Oasis fosters lifelong resiliency and develops positive community leaders and peers, offering a valuable contribution for the common good.
