Milo Petersen, a Seattle-based guitarist, drummer, composer, and educator, began his musical journey with harmonica lessons from his Danish grandfather at the age of 5. He studied violin, sang in church choirs, and later trained with renowned guitarists and drummers. Active in the Pacific Northwest jazz community since the late 1970s, Milo has performed with local and international jazz musicians, including Gary Steele, Julian Priester, Joe Sample, Herb Ellis, and Elvin Jones. He has appeared on television shows and Broadway productions, and taught music at various institutions. Currently, he teaches privately and at Seattle Central Community College.

Paul Gabrielson, a Seattle bassist, has traveled the world for 34 years with The Kingston Trio and made a significant impact on Seattle jazz. He has worked with many prominent musicians, including drummers, pianists, guitarists, horn players, and vocalists. Originally from Seattle, he owes his musical education to the musicians he worked with in the Northwest. Gabrielson earned his bachelor's degree in music from Central Washington University and a master's degree from City College in NYC. He taught at New York City College and studied with jazz greats Ray Brown, Cecil McBee, and John Clayton.
