Join us for a celebration of the (sesqui)centennial of three groundbreaking composers -- Luigi Nono (1924–1990), Charles Ives (1874–1954), and Arnold Schoenberg (1874–1951). The program will include Nono’s La fabbrica illuminata for voice and magnetic tape, a potpourri of scherzos by Ives, and Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire, Op.21, representing pivotal works from the early 20th century.

Performers will include guest artists Jennifer Goltz, soprano; Kevin Schempf, clarinet/bass-Hi clarinet; and Korine Fujiwara, viola joined by Puget Sound faculty Tracy Doyle flute/piccolo; Maria Sampen, violin/viola; Timothy Christie, violin; Alistair MacRae, cello; and Ronaldo Rolim, piano.
