Muller and Webb’s music blends each other’s influences from the Pacific Northwest to
the Appalachian Mountains. They play many of Muller’s original songs backed by
Appalachian dulcimers, guitars, mandolin, and electric cello. A mainstay of the Seattle
folk scene in the 1990’s, Muller’s song “Good Road” was the theme song of the Inland
Folk show heard on Northwest Public Radio for 30 years. Her songs have been
published in Rise Again, the sequel to the legendary Rise Up Singing songbook.
Muller and Webb have recorded four albums together in addition to Muller’s five
previous solo CDs.
Webb is a multi-instrumentalist from West Virginia who has played the cello and guitar
since childhood, and mandolin and mountain dulcimer for over 40 years. Webb was an
original member of the Mountain Stage radio show house band of National Public Radio
fame. There he accompanied artists such as Odetta, Tom Paxton, Shawn Colvin, Bill
Staines, Peggy Seeger, Arlo Guthrie, and many more.
