Beginning Birding at Porter's Pond
Join NCWAS' Bridget Egan to view birds along the Columbia River and within the cottonwood forests around Porter's Pond on the Apple Capital Loop Trail. This trip is for birders of all skills levels-beginners encouraged! Loaner binoculars available for use. We expect to see waterbirds, raptors, and a variety of songbirds. Wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothing for walking. It can be cool and buggy along the river so wear several layers and bring a small backpack to carry clothing and water.
No registration required- feel free to join us!
