Art and activism in the Irish fight for legal abortion
In their current defense of reproductive rights in the U.S., local activists can learn a lot from battles for bodily autonomy in other parts of the world. This gathering will feature a showing and discussion of the video Wholly Trinity: Abortion, Art and Activism in Ireland. The 30-minute documentary profiles how feminist artists used creativity and performance to inspire their ultimately victorious campaign. Also, hear updates on Radical Women activities. Everyone welcome.
