Following three high-profile cases involving its patients, Seattle Children's Hospitalhas been given a passing report card of "no deficiencies" by the state Department of Health, according to the Associated Press. Inquiries of nurses and other health care providers involved in the cases are still ongoing.

The department said Wednesday its review of the hospital found that it has effective, adequate systems in place to prevent patient harm.
KPLU reviewed the three incidents under investigation:
- The death of a baby who received a too-high drug dose
- A toddler incurred brain damage during a heart procedure
- A medication error involving an adult in the emergency room.
The adult recovered.
Another case, one involving a baby en route to the hospital, also remains under investigation. The Seattle Times reports:
In that case, a nurse failed to follow proper procedure in giving the baby medicine.
