Selling the Sonics was the last straw. Now this guy is stealing straws.

Actor Ben Weber has been taking down Starbucks one straw at a time the last few years.

This story originally aired on April 28, 2018.

Actor Ben Weber has been in movies like Kissing Jessica Stein and television shows like Sex and the City. Most recently he was in a television mini-series called Manhunt: Unabomber. But he also got some attention a few years ago for a video he did starring Ben Weber as Angry Ben Weber.

Weber grew up in Seattle and was a Seattle Supersonics fan from day one. After moving to New York, and eventually to Los Angeles, the Sonics remained his team, up until the point where they were sold by Starbucks founder Howard Schultz.

Weber felt betrayed. He blamed Schultz for selling off his favorite team, and as a result, having to watch them move to Oklahoma City and become the Thunder. But what could he do?

Weber spent years trying to come up with the perfect revenge ... a way to really stick it to Howard Schultz and Starbucks. And then, he shared his master plan with the world in a video. His plan? Start a movement to take down Starbucks, one straw at a time.
