New CD releases from Seattle, Portland and Victoria are featured on this week's Jazz Northwest. Among them is the first new release in nine years from the long standing duo of vibist Tom Collier and bassist Dan Dean, recorded in Seattle and in L.A.
Also new on this program are releases from former Seattle pianist Larry Fuller, singer-songwriter Ana Velinova from Victoria, Toni Lincoln from Portland, and Seattle pianist and composer Ann Reynolds with a Cuban band!
Next week, Jazz Northwest goes on location for a concert by an All Star Big Band conducted by NEA Jazz Master Bill Holman recorded at this Summer's Centrum's Jazz Port Townsend.
