KO Ensemble in Art of Jazz concert on Jazz Northwest

Saxophonist Kate Olson brought her KO Ensemble to The Seattle Art Museum for November's Art of Jazz concert presented by Earshot. The concert was one of a series marking a reunion of Kate Olson with trombonist Naomi Moon Siegel. The KO Ensemble also included Alex Guilbert, piano, Chris Symer, bass and Chris Icasiano on drums. The concert featured original music by Olson, Siegel and Guilbert and was recorded for today’s episode.

The Art of Jazz series is presented by Earshot Jazz and the Seattle Art Museum from 5:30 to 7:30 on the second Thursday of each month. The concerts are free admission and open to the public. The next concert in the series on December 12 will feature vocalist Greta Matassa celebrating her recent CD "Portrait" and holiday music.
