Election results will be certified on Nov. 26. The controversial donation was made to the political action committee sponsored by the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

So, how does the chamber plan to work with the new council? KNKX Morning Edition host Kirsten Kendrick sat down with Marilyn Strickland, the chamber's president and CEO, who's also the former mayor of Tacoma.

Kirsten Kendrick hosts Morning Edition on KNKX and the sports interview series "Going Deep," talking with folks tied to sports in our region about what drives them — as professionals and people.
