Chief Marshal Elisa Sansalone says she finds calm in the chaos of the Municipal Court of Seattle.
That’s important for someone who leads a team tasked with transporting defendants to and from court about 15,000 times a year.
But being Chief Marshal is far from the job that Sansalone imagined when she was younger. She imagined a rather glitzier career -- one in film and television. And she achieved that, garnering credits for behind-the-scenes work on more than a dozen productions, from "Serial Mom" to "Last Man Standing."
It's not easy to make a career behind the camera so far from Hollywood, but it's Sansalone's second act that makes her unique.
