KNKX Honors Pride Month 2022 - Regional Events, June 1-30

June is National LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. KNKX has compiled a list of regional Pride events.

KNKX sponsors:

The Seattle Pride Parade is June 26 at 11 a.m. It’s now Seattle’s largest parade, and one of the largest Pride parades in the country attracting approximately 400,000 people. The parade route runs along Fourth Avenue in downtown Seattle between Pike Street and Denny Avenue, with accessibility services and reserved grandstand seating available. Following two years of virtual Pride festivities, this year’s theme is “Family Reunion” to mark the return of Seattle’s in-person celebration. Seattle Pride Parade is a free event produced by Seattle Pride, the folks who also produce the Seattle Pride in the Park, host the quarterly issues-oriented Pride Speaks community conversation events, provide grants and sponsorships to community-serving non-profit organizations and events, and advocate year-round in support of diversity, inclusivity, and equal human rights for all.
