36th Annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival - June 24-July 3
The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival is held in multiple locations across the beautiful city of Vancouver. Framed by mountains and the ocean, this idyllic location is the perfect place to get your musical fix. With 1,800 artists, 300 performances, 35 venues, and 150+ free shows – this annual event is not to be missed.
The 2022 festival brings us back to that joy and continues the innovation of previous years. We’ve got great marquee shows like Lucinda Williams. We’re also excited to present shows in the Vancouver Playhouse, a new venue for us. We think it will be the perfect home for shows like Cécile McLorin Salvant and GoGo Penguin. We’ve got perennial favourites returning to the festival, from local luminaries like Jodi Proznick and Dawn Pemberton to international artists Darius Jones and Julian Lage. There are plenty of new artists to discover, and we’re really excited about our co-productions with Full Circle: First Nations Performance across multiple venues, including our evening Ocean Art Works shows. Pro tip—it’s going to be the late-night hotspot of the festival! This year, we’ve got more than 60 free shows for you to take in. Whether you’re wandering around Downtown Jazz, having a picnic at David Lam Park, or popping into The Ironworks, you’re sure to hear something to inspire your soul and move your body.
