This season knkx is making music, memories and merry for our community and we want you to be a part of it!
The community brought so much cheer to all of us at knkx this year, and we want to pay some of that cheer forward by partnering with Northwest Harvest during our Winter Drive. For every $100 raised during this drive, knkx will fill a backpack with two days’ worth of nutritious, kid-friendly food for the organization's Three Squares backpack program.
These backpacks are distributed in high-needs public schools throughout Washington state, helping children who may have limited food resources outside of school get enough nourishment and sustenance while at home. You can learn more about Northwest Harvest and the Three Squares program here.

In 2016, generosity, community, and gratitude dominated the story of knkx. When the 50-year legacy of this station was threatened, listeners stood up and made sure that a future existed for jazz, blues and news on 88.5. The new knkx emerged and is more motivated than ever to honor our commitments to educate, inspire and build a stronger, more engaged community.
