Bomb Threat Triggers Evacuation At Marysville Pilchuck High

A bomb threat on Wednesday prompted the evacuation of Marysville Pilchuck High School, where a shooting claimed five lives last October.

Marysville School District officials said the school received the threat around 1:45 p.m. Classes were dismissed around 2:15 p.m. and students were either bussed home or taken to the Shoultes Gospel Hall to wait for their parents.

No other information about the threat was immediately available. Police are investigating the threat and using bomb-sniffing dogs to determine whether it is credible, district officials said.
